retreating back to my own shell
im lacking the enthusiasm and motivation to associate with people
it feels like a chore now
and i felt drained
many a times,
i'd crawl into my comforters and
wish that i could stay in there forever

in response to my previous post
that fading of emotions and excitement suggest that those feelings
stimulates the secretion of dopamine
and thus they wane after being challenged by time

if you wish for a relationship to last
try your best to secrete more Oxytocin

or yeah i forgot.
love can't be controlled as much as we want to.

even if at that very moment you're overwhelmed with your emotions
be it gratitude, love, sorrow or regret
it only stays during that moment
as time goes
when the feeling fades
you know that it's not going to stay there forever...

lesson no. 1
when someone made you a promise, never expect it to be fulfilled. so if it's fulfilled...it's a gift; when it's not, you wouldn't feel too disappointed

lesson no. 2
you don't have to be a perfect person to get someone to love you
a perfect person may not have someone who love them as much as someone who is imperfect

time to grow up
stop acting like a kid.
